Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from a diverse ethnic background. The father of Jacqueline, Elroy Fernandez, is Sri Lankan. Having a passion for the world of languages and cultures, she took part in the Berlitz school of languages, which is where she began to learn Spanish as well as improve her French as well as Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed in the Miss Universe 2006 and Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she took home the title in 2006. Her first appearance on television was after she won the Miss Sri Lanka title. Her show, Lanka Business Report, is about Sri Lankan business. Padukone's father is badminton-player Prakash Padukone.
